Models

These models started out as 'props' for my paintings. They are all made from card, with additional bits of collage, balsa wood and wire, and are painted in acrylic paint.
Most of them are based on real buildings which I have visited and photographed, or on photographs I have found in books. 'Lotto Kiosk' and 'Trinkhalle' were based on photographs supplied to me by friends. A few (such as 'Civic Structure' and 'Spiral Tower') are fantasy structures invented by me.
Recently I have come to see the models as finished works in themselves.
